Tasting Note
About The Cognac:
An enduring heritage of savoir-faire. Named after the historic Château de Chanteloup, which is the soul of Maison Martell. This legacy of savoir-faire, perpetuated through nine generations, is today in the hands of Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud, who blends these Extra Extra old eaux-de-vie. A unique blend of the four finest cognac crus. Exceptional blend of 450 very old eaux-de-vie from the four of the most prestigious crus, Borderies, Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois, in a single cognac. Refinement of complexity. Martell’s precious eaux-de-vie is purely processed by double distillation, making it flawless. The Cellar Master puts the eaux-de-vie into barrels of fine-grained oak to begin the ageing process.
