About The Gin:
Craft Distilled In Hong Kong
Incorporating 12 botanicals, half of which are of Asian origins, this gin is a take on a classic “London Dry style” with a local twist. Using an assortment of both Eastern and Western ingredients ranging from Chinese tangerine peels, sweet almonds and a blend of classic spices, the combination is inspired by a traditional Cantonese cuisine concept called ‘Sweet, Sour, Bitter and Spicy’, also known as ‘the balance of basic flavors’ to create a complex, rounding and sippable spirit.
Tasting Notes :
■ Appearance: Transparency.
■ Bouquet: Fragrant with citrus-peppery aromatics, soft floral kick of pink berries
■ Palate: Sweet nuttiness of vanilla and “naam buk hang” Chinese almonds.
■ Finish: Leading to a finishing flavor of classic spices comprised of coriander seed, green cardamom and of course, “kum cho” Chinese liquorice root.
