Round and lavish, packed with pomelo oil, finishing with a generous hit of Ruby Red grapefruit zest.

Harry Craddock, who was known in the 1930s for his fantastic cocktails at iconic London destinations, The Savoy and The Dorchester Hotel. In his journals and recipes, he often spoke of using the ‘forbidden fruit’ and his secrets remained somewhat shrouded in mystery until recent years. Harry Craddock was the inspiration for East Imperial's Grapefruit Tonic and makes a stunning Gin and Tonic, as well as many other delicious cocktails.

Product Information
「東帝(East Imperial)」

A world-class collection of New Zealand made tonic waters and mixers. All-natural, low sugar, and inspired by a 1903 recipe. The spirit of exploration lies at the heart of East Imperial. East Imperial set out to be true to the quinine water found in the tumblers of the early pioneers and settlers in East Africa and East Asia at the turn of the last century. East Imperial began with a genuine family history, and worked with the best global distillers and bartenders to create a collection based on tradition with an obsession for exceptional drinking experiences.

East Imperial traced their quinine back to the Java province where the Dutch originally sourced it from during the period 1888 to 1942. They apply the same principles sourcing all their ingredients; sugar cane, Mombasa and Thai ginger root, yuzu or pomelo. These highest quality natural ingredients combined with Javanese quinine are what give the East Imperial range its distinct flavour profile.

The water is sourced from a mineral spring located in the North Island of New Zealand, one of only three countries allowed to bottle straight from source, while some competitors use municipal water. East Imperial uses only all natural ingredients sourced from Asia, with no artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners or preservatives.
